Our Family

Chris was born in Pekin, IL and graduated from Bradley University.  His father Robert was a mechanical engineer who worked for Caterpillar designing industrial engines and transmissions.  His mother Joyce was an elementary teacher and later a realtor.  Chris received his Master's degree in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. 

Chris' wife is Teresa (Koerner) Johnson.  She is the Ohio State University Youth Development and 4H Educator for Defiance County Ohio.  Teresa was raised on a family farm outside Edgerton, Ohio.  Her father John Koerner was a well-known dairy farmer.  Her mother Patsy was a Christian writer and church secretary.  Teresa is an alumnus of Bluffton University (B.A.) and Purdue University (M.A.).

They have one daughter (Madison) who is a flight systems engineer for Bell Textron (Bell Helicoptor) in Fort Worth, TX.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Master of Engineering Management from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
