The Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company is seeking an Assistant General Manager who is an innovative water industry professional with strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills. With a career path that has demonstrated successful accomplishments in a water utility, this management level position (reports to GM) will assist in leading the Company and overseeing engineering, technical, and operations staff. The selected candidate will have experience gained through a mid-management or higher position in a water utility, special district, city, county, or other similar agency. Eight years of increasingly responsible experience in potable water systems with two years in a management capacity. Bachelor’s degree is required with major course work in business or public administration, engineering, or a related field. Must be a registered Professional Engineer or possess a State of California T2 Water Treatment Certificate and D4 Distribution Certificate. Salary DOQ, with health, 401k and defined benefit pension, and other competitive benefits.
